Musket: The musket was the main weapon for foot soldiers. The musket took a long time to load. It took about thirty seconds to load, depending on the soldier. If the soldier was lucky they could fire the maximum of three shots in one minute. If you wanted to load the musket you would have to you have to pour the gunpowder down the barrel and then drop the bullet in barrel. Then you would take the ramrod and stick it down the barrel and ram the bullet and the gunpowder to the bottom of the barrel. When the trigger was pulled, a flint would spark through a small hole causing the gun powder to explode and the bullet would come shooting out the barrel.
